At home in your holiday cottage
South Cottage is suitable for up to six people and is ideal for either families or adults. There are two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, a shower room and family bathroom. Open plan living downstairs includes a fully equipped kitchen, spacious and comfortable living area with a woodburning stove (logs are provided free of charge) and dining area. Dishwasher, washing machine, cot, highchair, flatscreen TV, DVD and free WiFi are all provided. Oil fired central heating, electricity, bedlinen and towels and a basic welcome pack are also included in the rental price. A bottle of champagne in the welcome pack will help you kickstart your holiday.
There is ample parking for two cars and a south and east facing private garden for relaxing in. There is a separate courtyard dining area, perfect for sunny days and balmy evenings.
Getting out and about
There are several footpaths nearby for keen walkers and cyclists and two excellent eateries within walking distance – the Earl of March in Lavant, a country pub restaurant serving freshly prepared seasonal food from local produce (www.theearlofmarch.com) and the Royal Oak in East Lavant which serves a combination of French, Mediterranean and New English cuisine (www.royaloaklavant.co.uk).
